Has been a long time since I last wrote here... So, here comes the updates.

• Went back Penang for CNY n during the end of March break. So, I missed Jaime's birthday which falls on 31st Mar. Meanwhile Dave found a job & started working when I was still away. Dave started work means lesser quality time spent together as our working schedule is very different. Sigh....
• Planning for our ROM, hopefully in the end of the year. As Dave's sister is going to have her wedding in May and my brother will be having his wedding in Oct, we're looking for a date not too close to theirs but it's not easy with the family part...

B'cos

• His dad wants banquet. Initial plan, no banquet. ROM with buffet reception with families, friends and some colleagues.
• His dad wants to choose auspicious dates for both ROM and banquet. Initial plan, let his dad decide on the banquet's date and we'll do all the planning for ROM. Cos I need to choose a day which will be convenient for my family to be here.
  
• His dad wants a very simple ROM which consist of ONLY immediate family. Initial plan, invite friends for ROM which we'll be planning and paying.
• His dad wants us to do ROM in June 2008 and banquet in March 2009. Which left us with only 1 month to prepare for ROM. Initial plan is to have ROM in Nov or Dec 2008 with no banquet.
  

So, there's a lot of discussions going on and we finally decided to do it this way.

• ROM with only immediate family and we'll have an outing with friends later.
• Date of ROM will be on 8th Aug 2008 at the function room of Dave's uncle's condo. ( Thx to Jaime for her suggestion)
• Wanted to cater buffet for all guests but his dad would prefer to have the ceremony then go out for dinner at some restaurant. So we agreed on that. ( I'm thinking his dad got so many preference n suggestions, so who's going to pay huh?)
• All friends and colleagues will be invited for banquet. Yet to confirm place n date, but we're sourcing for a nice place. And yes, if there's going to be a banquet, I want it to be grand n nice n memorable.

And we went ahead to do further preparations for our big day.

• Bought the proposal ring from Mauboussin. It's a love-at-first-sight ring... But I'm not going to get it till he propose. Sobz..
• Bought our wedding band from Love & Co last Sunday. It's a love-at-first-sight bands. And we both love it. We'll be getting the wedding bands on 31st July.
• As we don't plan to get a house so soon, we'll be staying with his parents and there will be more preparations to do later on... For now, we are all busy planning and preparing for his sister's big day which is another 11 days aways.

That's all for now as more will be coming. It's time for me to prepare for my lesson. Oh, did I mention I'm back taking piano lessons? Yes, and that means more practising to do.
